Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Tom Whittington graduated from NC State with a BS in Engineering in 1972 and is still an avid ACC fan.
His love of boating began at age six in boats and on water skis on Lake Wylie, Lake Norman and the Chesapeake Bay. After Tom retired from Hewlett Packard, his best friend in Florida (a marina owner) convinced him to “try” and sell boats. Fourteen years later, Tom’s company, Manatee Pocket Yacht Sales, has six licensed Florida Yacht Brokers and brokers in Connecticut and The Keys. Tom has received world-class training from Hewlett Packard and is committed to the highest standard of ethics as a Rotarian. Tom is a member of the Stuart Sunrise Rotary Club, President of the Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast, and is on the board of directors for Chapman’s School of Seamanship.
His experience of closing over 1,500 vessels assures you of a smooth buying or selling transaction.
