Description
2000 Hunter 410 Sloop
We are proud to be presenting this unique opportunity to the market. "KnotFlyin'" is a Hunter 410 that had a lightning strike while in a Stuart mooring field. She is very well maintained and has had recent updating. The owners are Canadian, and the logistics involved with managing the lightning repairs has caused them to list the yacht.
This yacht would normally list in the $125,000 range due to being repowered in 2023 with a new Yanmar 4JH57. It has less than 200 hrs. Plus the additional items listed.
We have a fully detailed damage survey done by a local surveyor that includes estimates for all repairs. The repairs, if totally done by contractors, will be approximately $35K-$40K. Do the math, this is a very good opportunity to own an excellent yacht. She is on the hard in a yard in the Stuart area, and the mast has been removed.
Her highpoints are:
- New Yanmar 4JH57 - 2023 <200 hrs.
- New custom anchor roller/chain plate
- Recent custom dodger and bimini
- New 100 AH Victron Lithium batteries - (5)
- New 12v lead acid starting battery
- New Victron 150/100 MPPT controller and DC/DC charger
- Recent 2 X 545 Watt solar panels
- Recent bottom paint
- Recent running rigging replacements
- New 4 person DSS Protection life raft
- Recent NavPod and Raymarine Axiom 9 chart plotter
- Recent cockpit lighting
This yacht deserves your attention if you are looking for a great opportunity. Call to take a look.
General Description
The two cabin two head shoal draft Hunter 410 with in-mast furling is a very comfortable boat, both down below and on deck. The interior is light and well-appointed, a large galley, large dinette, and a wide companionway for a smooth transition from inside to out. The cockpit has plenty of room for friends and family. The arch takes the traveler out of the way, and the perch seats on the stern rail give added seating, (with a great view) out of the way of the captain. The pedestal is robust and has space for all the instruments. Sail handling is done from the forward part of the cockpit - winches are on the cabin top. Access to the water is through the fold-down captain's seat, onto the stern platform. Forward guest cabin with head/shower
- Aft cabin master stateroom with head/shower
- Main salon with dining table that converts to double berth
- Galley with Propane stove/oven
- In-mast furling
- Furling genoa
- Dinghy davits
- Wind generator
- Solar panels
- Bimini and dodger
- Large cockpit

Broker's Comments
This is an unusual opportunity for someone to get virtually a near new boat at a good price. The listing price assumes that all of the work will be done by the estimating contractor, but that would be up to the new owner to decide. Plus, you may elect to put in a different refrigeration than a Frigoboat, for example. The great part is that these would then be brand new systems. This yacht with new standing rigging, new electronics, new bottom paint, and essentially a new Yanmar diesel would be a fantastic deal because you would decide on what you want, and it would be as close to a new boat as you can get. Obviously, this is an "as is - where is" type of sale, but the price makes that a good situation. Call to see "KnotFlyin"". This is a very economical way to get a brand new Hunter 410!
